Leading Lady? Leading Man? I can act both!

On May 24th and May 25th, our school held two performances of Ken Ludwig’s Leading Ladies. They won the applause and praise of the students, faculty and parents.

Actor's feelings

Alex Ma from G10: Showing the drama performance is not easy. The most important word I feel during this performance is: Persevere! An acclaimed stage performance requires not only the best stage performance of the actors, but also the teamwork of the backstage crew. The students who are in charge of the backstage support work participated in the stage set construction, lighting, tuning, changing props, fashion design, etc. required by this drama performance. It is with their hard work that the whole performance is smoother.

Crew's feelings

Alan Yang from G11 (Sound Designer): Although the rehearsals were very hard, the backstage crew needs to be constantly adjusted according to the instructions, but the concerted efforts are the perfect stage.

David Pan from G11 (Lighting Designer): The backstage is a relatively closed and narrow space. Although the working environment is a bit maddening, every time I saw the progress of the actors in the background, I felt that our work was very worthwhile! They were harder than us.

Drama Teacher Mr.T's feelings

I am so proud of all the students for their hard work and determination. We started in February with a dream. We never gave up chasing our goal. And finally, we showed the audience a great performance. I look forward to next year and what we will achieve!
