With the enhancement human environmental protection consciousness, garbage classification is more and more attention.Trash sorting is to distribute waste, utilize recyclable resources, including material and energy utilization, and dispose of temporarily unused waste by landfill. In many developed countries, the recycling industry has played an important role in industrial structure. NAIS is also actively make efforts for environmental protection, in addition to saving energy and paper in our daily life, garbage classification is also in progress.
① Recyclable – Blue Dustbin
Mainly include: plastic, glass, metal, cloth.
② Household Food Waste – Brown Dustbin
Mainly include: leftovers, bones, roots, vegetables, leaves, peel and other food waste.
③ Residual Waste – Black Dustbin
Mainly include: waste paper, plastic, glass, metal, fabric, ceramics etc.
④ Harmful Waste – Red Dustbin
Mainly include: wastes that contain heavy metals that are harmful to human health or that cause actual or potential harm to the environment include batteries, fluorescent tubes, light bulbs, mercury thermometers, paint buckets, some home appliances, expired medicines, expired cosmetics, etc.
① Black Dustbin：Placed in every classroom, office, dormitory and bathroom.
② Blue Dustbin and Brown Dustbin: Placed in public area, located in the designated area of each floor of teaching building, dormitory and GYM.
From July 1st, 2019, all the students and faculty are requested to throw the rubbish into the right dustbins. Garbage Classification is not a trivial matter, under the background of promoting green and sustainable development, the implementation of garbage classification is an effective measure to practice the idea of ecological civilization. The beautiful campus environment needs to be maintained and protected by ourselves.
